    About The Work

Expanding the popular koi fish motif into a narrative, tattoo artist Horiren First depicts a scene in which Japanese folk hero Kintaro, a child of superhuman strength, rides a monstrous dragonfish called Babkegoi. This unique work made of sumi ink on handmade washi paper is titled on the top and signed on the bottom in the traditional manner of Japanese prints.
