Janelle Burns

Janelle Burns is an emerging American artist whose mixed media process art combines abstract expressionism and off beat color palettes reminiscent of pop art. Her background in fashion and current practice as an interior designer propel her ability to combine mediums, patterns and colors to result in chaotic visual texture that is at once harmonious and upbeat.

Janelle’s work utilizes a range of techniques and mediums including gauche, watercolor, acrylic, ink and charcoal to create works on paper and canvas. Her work is informed by haute couture, street style, advertising, punk rock, and her native Southern California.
