John Midgley

John got his first taste of photography when he modelled for Sarah Moon as a child growing up in Paris. He later studied photography at art school in England. His first big break came when he shot Martin Margiela’s debut collection for Hermes. From there he worked consistently, shooting for magazines, clothing companies, and cosmetics brands, and has won multiple awards. For the last 15 years, he has lived with his family in Brooklyn. Still is his first photography book, fulfilling a dream he’s had since he left art school almost three decades ago.
