Luciana Levinton

Argentinian artist Luciana Levinton depicts various real and imagined spaces, interjecting color as a means of portraying buildings and urban environments as vibrant characters. Urging her viewers to move through the pictured spaces in unexpected ways, Levinton attempts to capture the energy and spirit of various architectural motifs. Often using collage and paint, the artist chooses buildings that she feels passionately about, from New York and San Paulo, to Venice and her hometown of Buenos Aries.

Levinton has exhibited at the Centro Cultural Borges, Buenos Aires, British Arts Center, Buenos Aires, Centro Cultural Julian Centeya, Asociacion Amigos Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Buenos Aires and her work has been selected at the Puro Diseo Fair, and at the Sociedad Central de Arquitectos.
