In a special dusk-to-dawn screening, the Museum of Contemporary Art will host the international premiere of Kjartansson’s 12-hour video work, “Bliss,” which was filmed at his performance at Performa 11 in New York 2011 and features the final, famous aria from Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro.”

Book release, signing, and film screening for “Wrinkles of the City, Havana, Cuba” by JR and José Parlá at The Standard, 40 Island Avenue, 7-11 p.m.
Not many hotels also have publishing branches, but the Standard Press, the book-centric arm of The Standard Hotels, will be presenting their latest release, Wrinkles of the City, containing 25 portraits of Havana’s oldest residents by artists JR and José Paria. The launch of the photobook will also be accompanied by a screening of a film by the same name, which captures the artists’ work on a number of outdoor murals for the Havana Biennial.
