Marisu Solís

Marisu Solís studied Fine Arts at the prestigious San Fernando School of Fine Arts in Madrid. In her beginnings as a student, she participated in the movement at the end of the 70s of the "Movida de Madrid". Her work is based on acrylic painting on two supports, linen canvas and wood.

Marisu's work is semi-abstract and is based on nature, landscapes and organic and rural elements. Solís has a great mastery of composition and the exquisite use of color. She also uses collage and work on paper as a spatial break and incorporates line and color in her expressive work.

Solis has exhibited her work in important galleries in Spain and her paintings are in private collections in Europe and America.
