    About The Work

Using a combination of printing techniques—etching, lithography, and woodcut—here, Nicola López has constructed an uncontrollable, kinetic image in an edition of 12. Manufacturing debris bursts forth in a jumble, and as these elements of the built environment take on life of their own (or "transform," as the titled suggests), Lopez offers an idiosyncratic picture, one that is at once absorbing and apocalyptic.
