Penny Slinger

British-born American author and artist Penny Slinger has been working in the creative field since the 1970s, producing art in various mediums—from collage and painting to photography and film. Throughout the course of her career, Slinger has also engaged in a variety of themes and concerns, among the most noteworthy: the history and traditions of Surrealism, the female body and experience, eroticism, and Caribbean culture (where she lived from 1980 to 1994).

Slinger’s work has been exhibited globally, and since 1994, she has lived and worked in Boulder Creek, California.
