Peter Barrickman

Peter Barrickman's paintings depict the way in which our ordinary perception is convoluted by the continual patching together of images and colors that create the world around us. Barrickman employs diverse techniques, bold colors and quotidian objects to create surreal landscapes on large canvases that are visually entertaining but rigorously considered and executed.

Barrickman’s work has been shown at The Green Gallery in Milwaukee, Rowley Kennerk in Chicago, And/Or gallery in Dallas, Ulrich Museum of Art in Witchita, La Panaderia in Mexico City, Angstrom Gallery in Los Angeles, Pepin Moore Gallery in Los Angeles, Karma International in Zurich; Tanzschuleprojects in Munich, and Crisp Gallery in London.
