    About The Work

Using a pallet of bright primary colors in his composition, Lichtenstein developed the now famous technique of stenciled dotted lines that mimicked and amplified commercial printing patterns. This image is a rare and very large billboard exhibition poster created by Roy Lichtenstein for a show held at Ace Gallery in Los Angeles. It was published in 1978 and titled Cheese Head.
