    About The Work

In this three-dimensional laser-cut silkscreen print, multimedia artist Sarah Sze continues to explore themes form her sculptural systems, which use everyday objects and architectural structure as markers of human behavior and memory. Eyechart addresses the transformative nature of sight, space and perspective, re-contextualizing the traditional eye chart into a standing sculptural icon. Sze says of her process, “I am interested in an object or image that plays with the state of its own existence.”
