    About The Work

Growing up in Lebanon during the Civil War until 1982, Simone Fattal’s work explores notions of history, politics, freedom, and feminism. In Jackie Kennedy, photographic prints of flowers, a symbol of femininity, and former First Lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis, a cultural icon of style and grace, are collaged on paper with a black background.
