    About The Work

This work from British artist Susie Hamilton is from a series entitled Here Comes Everybody, which depicts various ambiguous figures as shadows and silhouettes of color, contour and contrast. The artist says of the series, “Here Comes Everybody is a quote from Finnegan's Wake by James Joyce. I used it to describe this series of watercolors and drawings done in St Paul's Cathedral and exhibited in the South Transept.”
