Wilhelm Lorenz

Wilhelm (Willi) Lorenz (German, 1901–1981) Wilhelm Lorenz that signed Willi Lorenz, was a German painter specialized in paintings of animals typically hunted as game. His highly detailed oil paintings evoke the texture and movement of animals like boars, foxes, bisons or lions depicted in their natural habitats and attitudes. His artworks bears resemblance and similarity to the works of Max Josef Hänger Lorenz attended the Düsseldorf Academy of Art before moving to Cologne to establish his career.
