Zach Nader

Zach Nader is a Brooklyn-based artist conducting image-based experiments drawn from the possibilities of contemporary image editing software coupled with the fluidity of pictorial representation. His inquiry addresses the ways in which elements of anticipation and loss continue to live and transform through image creation and consumption, both personal and public. His reworking of existing photographic imagery has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including a recent month-long nightly video installation on 23 electronic billboards and newspaper kiosks as part of Midnight Moment in Times Square. Zach also co-founded the collaborative artist project useful pictures, which highlights the work of artists who actively complicate the photographic alongside a culture of instant and global image sharing.

Nader has recently had two solo shows at Microscope Gallery titled Psychic Pictures, 2019 and Stage Blind, 2017. His work is shown throughout the United States and abroad.
