    About The Work

Part of a three-piece collaboration with the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies, Eric Fischl’s Move is a prime example of painterly technique used in offset color lithography. Vibrant and fluid, the piece still retains the visual density of the human form, creating a sense that the viewer is almost peering under the skin. A master of modern portraiture, Fischl was introduced to printmaking in 1982 and has since explored and re-imagined his technique through a distinct process he regards as independent from his paintings and photographs.
