Artspace attempted to beat the heat this week in the air-conditioned galleries of New York, where we saw an array of summer shows at The Hole, David Zwirner, and Matthew Marks, plus we stopped by a special reception for SculptureCenter's "Better Homes" exhibition and took a trip upstate to see Haim Steinbach and Helen Marten at Bard's Center for Curatorial Studies.
