Boris Tellegen

Dutch artist Boris Tellegen began his career in the 1980’s as a text-based graffiti artist under the pseudonym Delta. His graffiti practice toyed with the dimensionality of the flat surfaces that he painted. This concept was later incorporated into his fine art practice and combined with his studies in Industrial Design and Engineering at TU Delft in the 1990’s.  He is now known for his fractured three-dimensional reliefs or wood and paper collages, which play with perspective and surface.

Boris Tellegen’s work has been exhibited in group and solo shows, including Musée des Beaux-Arts, Tourcoing, France, Amsterdam Museum, Netherlands, Somerset House, London, Elms Lesters Gallery, London, Gallery Common, Tokyo, Japan, and Kunstraum Kreuzberg Bethanien, Berlin.
