Bright Ugochukwu Eke

Bright Ugochukwu Eke received his MFA from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. His conceptually inflected installations utilize materials such as water, zinc roofing sheets, bottles, thread, and sand to address issues of environmental degradation, particularly as it affects his native Nigeria. His work has been included in the Trans Cape Contemporary African Art Exhibition (2007), South Africa, and in the Dak’Art Biennial (2006), where he was awarded the Djerassi Resident Artist Prize.
