Caitlin Berrigan

Caitlin Berrigan is currently pursuing her master’s degree in visual studies at MIT and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She works in edible sculpture and interactive performance to explore our evolving relationships with our bodies. Themes of disease, consumption, and the form and function of parts themselves recur in her work, including a five-foot marzipan tampon and chocolates cast as the hepatitis C virus (Viral Confections, 2006).
