Influenced by surrealism, Daniella Fishburne transforms her self-portrait into windows of dreamlike hallucinations. A self-taught photographer and digital artist, her images are a combination of carefully staged photo shoots and digital manipulation. In order to bend reality to meet her imagination, she spends countless hours meticulously layering and blending her photographs together to create strange and eerily romantic imagery. Her digital composites are a result of chronic daydreaming and the extravagant fantasy world created in her mind.
Fishburne’s work has been shown in numerous group exhibitions across the United States and has won multiple awards in the photo manipulation category of the Fine Art Photography Awards.
