David Brady

Los Angeles-based David Brady makes objects, installations, and sound works using a range of materials and processes. These include growing crystals from his own tears, manipulations of bulletproof glass or acrylic fingernail tips, and computer programming applications. His The Origin of the World Wallpaper (2007) extends the legacy of Gustave Courbet’s 1866 painting by fracturing pornographic images into decorative, kaleidoscopic patterns.
