Emily Sutton

Emily Sutton is a celebrated artist and illustrator. Incorporating a love of pattern and detail, her intricate drawings, paintings, and screenprints have taken inspiration from her travels to Paris and Southern France as well as scenes closer to her native Yorkshire.


Sutton has worked with many distinguished clients around the world. She has illustrated books for the Victoria & Albert Museum, Faber and Faber, Random House, Penguin, and Walker Books. She has undertaken commissions for brands such as Hermes, Fortnum & Mason, and Betty’s of Harrogate. Sutton was awarded the Elle Decoration British Design Award 2011 for her Curiosity Shop fabric for St Jude’s.
