Fabien Giraud & Raphaël Siboni

French artists Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni have been collaborating since 2007 to create films, installations, and sculptures about the power of technology and its relationship to the medium of film. The artists use outdated cameras and the latest innovations in film to create work that reflects on these topics. The duo is best known for their work The Unmanned, which is a film series that takes place in the past, present, and future, and portrays man in competition with technology. This work was partially shot with cameras attached to drones, and is an example of how their process and art are integrally tied to the pressing issues of today.

Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni’s work has been exhibited in group and solo shows internationally, including Palais de Tokyo, Paris, Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces, Melbourne, Museo Pallazo Riso, Parlermo, Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, Moscow Biennial, and the Liverpool Biennial.
