Gabriel Aterriza

The work of Mexican painter Gabriel Aterriza is characterized by lush color, gestural brushstrokes and water-like compositions. In his hualahuises infinity pattern series, Aterriza captures the beauty of the rivers in Hualahuises, Mexico with a fluid and prismatic style reminiscent of the French Impressionists. Aterriza has shown his paintings in a number of exhibitions throughout Mexico including Galería Alternativa Once, Museo el Centenario, El Triángulo, and Museo Marco, all in Monterrey, Mexico. He recently showed at the 2016 Material Art Fair ExpoReforma, with Cuatro Trece.
