James Beckett

James Beckett attended the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, where he continues to live and work. His sculpture, installation, live performance, and sound works explore pathways between history, science, and music. Projects include a concert for percussion on 150 trophies (2006), a printer that translates the vibrations of passing trains into punched holes in paper (2006), and a temporary interactive radio show in Besengue City, Cameroon, Africa (2002).
