Luciana Lamothe

Luciana Lamothe attended the Prilidiano Pueyrredon National School in Buenos Aires, where she continues to live and work. Her anarchic sculptures, videos, and urban interventions skirt the line between construction and destruction, mixing conceptual strategies with the aesthetics of vandalism. Her installation Steelkill (2008) was exhibited as part of the 5th Berlin Biennial and explored the social and architectural implications of the demolition of the Palast der Republik, the former seat of the East German parliament.
