Marc Rembold

Swiss artist Marc Rembold is known for his experiments in light and color, which take the form of painting, sculpture, and multi-media installation. In the 1980’s, Rembold developed his revolutionary Light in Color concept, which presents color as a living element and states that light changes color based on temperature. His notable Liquid series makes light’s invisible color spectrum material. His practice actively seeks to expand the potential of his materials through the use of pigment, electricity, and temperature.

Marc Rembold’s work has been exhibited in group and solo shows internationally, including The Swiss Museum for Paper, Art Basel, Museum Trotte, Switzerland, Laleh June Galerie, Switzerland, Galerie Kashya Hildebrand, Switzerland, and Galerie Lausberg, Germany.
