Marcus Uzilevsky

Distinguished California artist Marcus Uzilevsky, most known for his linear landscapes and music series, is represented in the permanent collections of numerous museums around the world. Since 1974 he has had over 50 one-man shows and obtained many awards in juried museum competitions.


Originally from New York City, he graduated from the School of Art and Design and has been painting, drawing, printmaking and making music ever since. His stylistic explorations range from linear to pointillistic landscapes, from gestural impressions of music to the lush color and patterns of his Homage to Klimt series.
