Daniel Swan

Daniel Swan is a London-based visual artist and filmmaker. Working primarily in video, his work uses a mixture of digital collage, 3D animation, 2D visual effects and found footage. His work has been described by Dazed Magazine as "a DMT drug dream." Swan has collaborated with a number of musicians on video projects, aesthetically described as "grimecore"; most notably Palmistry, Django Django, and R.L. Grime. 


Swan has had work shown at Tate Britain, ICA, Barbican and Channel 4. His solo shows include "The Games" at Berger Gray (2015); "Late at Tate" at Tate Britain in London (2014); "Pleasure Centre" (duo with Hannah Perry) at Two Queens in Leicester (2013); E-Vapor-8 at 319 Scholes in New York (2012); "The New Psychedelica" at Mu Gallery in Eindhoven (2011); and LuckyPDF TV at Frieze Art Fair in London (2011). He has also been featured in Info Pura, curated by Ed Leezon at The Residence Gallery in June 2016.
