Geoffrey Chadsey

American artist Geoffrey Chadsey is known for his drawings and paintings depicting deliberately flawed, androgynous bodies that oscillate between genders. His fine linework implicates malleable skin and mapping of transformation.

Chadsey has shown in a number of solo and group exhibitions at galleries and museums including Electric Works Gallery in San Francisco; Jack Shainman Gallery in New York; The Contemporary Museum in Honolulu; James Harris Gallery in Seattle; Stephen Wirtz Gallery in San Francisco; Maureen Paley Gallery in London; John Kincaid Gallery in Los Angeles; Tacoma Art Museum; Oakland Museum of Art; and more. He lives and works in Brooklyn.
