Harry Nadler

Born in 1930 in Los Angeles, CA, Harry Nadler was a geometric abstractionist, greatly influenced by French painters, Paul Cezanne and Piet Mondrian. His brushwork creates a sense of movement and a play of light within the confines of his geometric lines and forms. After he graduated from UCLA with a Master's degree, he joined the faculty of Wesleyan University in Connecticut. In 1971, he moved to New Mexico to teach painting at the University of New Mexico, while keeping a home in Amagansett, New York. Nadler died in 1990 in Albuquerque, NM.
