Heath West

Using fields of color and linear perspective, Heath West paints depictions of architectural space. These environments provide the artist with a vehicle for exploring rhythm, balance, and harmony in his compositions. West has presented solo exhibitions at The Cabin in Los Angeles, and Galleri Urbane in Dallas, in addition to group shows at 0-0 in Los Angeles, Harper’s Books in East Hampton, Nomadic at California Institute of the Arts, and See You Next Thursday’s presentation at the Wall Street Journal’s Future of Everything Festival in New York. In 2017, he was the recipient of an artist grant in painting from the Peter S. Reed Foundation, New York City. West holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (2009). He lives and works in Los Angeles.
