Luca Pozzi
Artist Luca Pozzi’s scientific approach to his work often manifests as a collaborative effort between the artist and leading institutions of scientific research. Characterized by the combination of magnetized sculptures, levitating objects, light drawings, and a performative use of photography, the artist creates a strange feeling of what he describes as “frozen time.”
“The space-time is an all-encompassing container, where everything is next to each other in a holistic sense. There is a strange feeling of frozen time. Past, present and future are indistinguishable. A series of multidisciplinary correspondences are converging into a beautiful network of pure and basic information beyond a geographical, political and linguistic borders. The importance of the less intuitive aspects of our reality: quantum gravity, teleportation, entanglement, augmented reality, time travel, cosmology and biodiversity. The result of an unusual correlation between theoretical physics, informatics and contemporary art.”

Pozzi has exhibited at such galleries and institutions as the Marrakech Biennale (2012), Moscow Biennale (2011), Foundation of Turin, Kabe Contemporary Miami, Federico Luger Gallery in Milan, the Grimmuseum and the Bethanien Kunstraum of Berlin, the Riot Studio of Naples and the gallery Enrico Astuni of Bologna.
