Moza Saracho
Moza was born in 1979, in Mexico City, and has lived and studied in Rome and New York.
MIRRORS by Moza Saracho, her first solo show, was curated in New York by Anne Huntington, and served as an introduction to Moza’s unique perception of the world. Art defines Moza’s identity. She is constantly reflecting and questioning herself and her surroundings. MIRRORS is an invitation to touch and experience the visible and invisible, where reality fuses into fantasy and vice-versa. It delves into timeless issues and presents us with forms that function to create dynamic dialogues on questions pervading our culture and ourselves. Moza’s visual and conceptual vocabulary has emerged through her focus on the intersection of space, reflection, and color.
Moza spent the summer as an invited artist at the Willem de Kooning Studio, and is currently working on her next show, Molecular Art, in Mexico City. She has a Master in Fine Arts degrees from New York University, and an undergraduate degree in Set Design from IED Rome, Italy. She spent a year studying Culinary Arts at Paul Bocuse Culinary School in Lyon, France.
