Rachel Cabitt

Rachel Cabitt is a photographer known for her attentive eye to light and color. Inspired by the nighttime, she experiments with limited amounts of light and analog processes, creating intimate descriptions of herself and her subjects. Blurring the line between self portraiture and documentary photography, she aims to simply capture what surrounds her.

Editorially, her clients include Rolling Stone, WIRED, The New York Times, WeTransfer, and Barron’s among others. She has also been awarded by Photo District News and American Photography for her portraiture and her work has been exhibited at Brooklyn's Photoville and at Chinatown Soup where she showcased her first solo show "I Like You Better At Night" in 2018.
