Renato Grignaschi

Italian photographer Renato Grignaschi (b. 1943), began his career working in advertising, for brands including L'Espresso and Il Messaggero. In 1973, Grignashi went to work for Italian Vogue; where transitioned toward portrait, beauty, and fashion photography. After working at Vogue for 15 years, the artist branched out as a freelance fashion photographer, shooting in Europe and the United States for publications including New York Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue USA, Seventeen, and Cosmopolitan. He has shot a number of campaigns for major brands including La Perla, Revlon, Escada, Loewe, Oceano, Erreuno, Armani, and Malizia. Grignashi's photographs have a timeless sensibility and portray an effortless beauty and grace reminiscent of classic black and white films. 


In recent years, the photographer works primarily in portrait photography, shooting actors and actresses, politicians, and athletes for publications including Vanity Fair, GQ, Panorama, Capital, and Sportsweek.
