“You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you.”

- Andy Warhol

In partnership with The SKATEROOM, Artspace is thrilled to present exclusive access to ten unique Self-Portrait skatedecks by Andy Warhol. This collection is made possible by the support of The Andy Warhol Foundation and The Brant Foundation.

This is the first limited edition of Warhol's 100 Self-Portraits. Famously meticulous about his self-image, Warhol turned the lens on himself to offer a rare glimpse into the many dimensions of his personality. Each edition is incredibly special, with its own color hue and a unique Polaroid photograph at its center.

Exclusive access for a limited time – don’t miss the opportunity to collect a one-of-a-kind edition with a unique Warhol polaroid at its center.

Wires Crossed Polaroids Ed Templeton

Wires Crossed Polaroids, 2023

“Everything I’ve ever shot has just been on the path that I’ve been on, be it skating or travel or street photography.” - Ed Templeton

Artspace spotlights legendary skateboarder, contemporary artist, and photographer, Ed Templeton. Since the 1990s, Templeton has contributed greatly to capturing skate subculture's visual identity, creating the most memorable photos that define the lifestyle. Now, his work is reimagined as a limited collection of skate art editions in the artist’s first collaboration with The SKATEROOM.

Depicting images from 1995 to 2012, the series is a perfect depiction of the artist’s raw and genuine approach to photography, as well as his ability to flawlessly capture emotions within a single shot. Each triptych is a limited edition of 50, signed by the artist.

Take home a newly released edition by the legendary skateboarder and artist today.

Home Sweet Home: Rose Pool Skateboard Mak Ying Tung
Mak Ying Tung
Home Sweet Home: Rose Pool Skateboard, 2023

Mak Ying Tung (Mak2)'s work contemplates 21st-century issues through the study of philosophy, art history, culture, shifting socio-political environments, the Internet, and new technology. The aesthetic experience she crafts is bound by the dualism of humor and intense inquisitiveness.

In this limited edition, the sun sets on a rooftop pool filled with floating roses, while trailing plants hang down from an invisible ceiling. The resulting differences between each panel disrupt the serene and dream-like atmosphere of this rooftop paradise, a startling reminder of the discrepancies between fantasy and reality.
