Dorota Kozieradzka

Dorota Kozieradzka searches her artistic path between different disciplines of art, willingly playing with conventions. She often undertakes a theme of place in her projects, attempting to create a visual language subjectively that describes its characteristics. Her photographs have a deeply Creationist nature, focusing on the human, his identity, emotional states, and on his relationships with real or designed place. The family album is a series of pairs of narrative photographs that construct a subjective family story.

Kozieradzka is a Ministry of Culture and National Heritage Scholarship "Young Poland" laureate and co-founder of Projects: Fontainebleau, Centre of Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw, 2009, "The legend,” Studio Gallery, Warsaw, 2011. She was a finalist of the 2007 Siemens Art Award Competition and her works are in several collections including Dietrich Mateschitz, Luciano Benetton Collection: Imago Mund.
