    About The Work

    The Oven Sky is an absorbing, idiosyncratic video by Jennifer Levonian. Her charming watercolor cutouts, detailed scenery, and use of music perfectly set the stage for her satirical narrative. Levonian’s protagonist is a quirky, H.P. Lovecraft fan whose property in a gentrifying neighborhood becomes the target of passive-aggressive hipster newcomers.
