Justin Beal

Reflecting his dual background in fine art and architecture, Justin Beal's artwork engages and critiques modernist and postmodernist discourse, particularly as it relates to architecture and design. Using an eclectic range of materials, such as aluminum, wire, medical tubing, Plexiglas, polyethylene, and mirrored glass, the artist explores themes of sexuality, death, and mass consumption. Beal's work has been exhibited extensively, including shows at Exit Art, Sculpture Center, Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, and the De Appel Centre for Contemporary Art.
