Kreëmart takes contemporary artists out of their usual creative process by giving the medium of sugar as their ultimate provocation. Kreëmart puts no restrictions as to the artists’ conceptions. We curate the idea together with the artist and partner them with the best pastry Chefs to have their works of art realized in the most faithful manner.

Art and dessert are declared to be non-essential luxuries that bring pleasure to the audience and by marrying such, we provide the audience with an ultimate interaction of said luxury.
Our projects are presented worldwide in the form of ‘art happenings’. The audience interacts with the artwork in a direct way. We invite our audiences to both literally and conceptually ingest and digest the artists’ creation. The nature of the happening is ephemeral, as is the experienced pleasure brought by such. Kreëmart presents a limited ingestible art edition as so the public can decide whether the experience of the work or the work intact in itself has more value to them -- to eat or not to eat.
Kreëmart was founded and created in 2009 by Raphaël Castoriano, a New York City based contemporary art-advisor. He and his team have created a platform for artists to expand their understanding of their own work as well as providing the audience with a distinctive experience of contemporary art.
