About The Work
Les Ambassadeurs, a 1990 etching by Arman, depicts multiple camera eyes pointing in different directions against a background of delicately hatched lines. The image is reminiscent of Arman's earlier accumulations of ordinary objects, some which also figure collections of cameras such as Click, Clack (1976).
