Cerith Wyn Evans

Cerith Wyn Evans (born in Wales, 1958) began his career as a video and film-maker, initially assisting Derek Jarman, and then making short, experimental films during the 1980s which often concentrated on dancers. In the 1990s he began to work in sculpture and installation becoming associated with the Young British Artists movement.

Wyn Evans's conceptual practice includes a wide range of media, from installation, sculptures, photography, film, and text. He has produced numerous photographs, often taken during the artist's travels around the globe.
