    About The Work

Drawing from various strains of Modernism’s esoteric roots, this screenprint uses opulent color, rich textures, and strange, non-Euclidean geometric forms. An array of nine elongated saddle-shaped forms hover over a horizon, five on the bottom in bubbling black and red, four on the top in electric orange, yellow, and vermillion. These forms seem simultaneous harmonic and adversarial, and are arranged in a pattern that recalls Stonehenge and other ancient sacred sites.
