About The Work

The fall of 2015 marked the 30th anniversary of the List Visual Arts Center, Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s renowned contemporary art museum. In recognition of this historic milestone, the List Center’s four directors since 1985—Kathy Halbreich, Katy Kline, Jane Farver, and Paul Ha—invited fifteen of the many exceptional artists who have previously exhibited at the List to provide work for a portfolio that celebrates the critically acclaimed programming presented by the List Center.

The 30th Anniversary Print Portfolio includes work by artists Adel Abdessemed, Nairy Baghramian, Cai Guo-Qiang, Ping Chong, Ralph Coburn, Robert Cumming, Ann Hamilton, Runa Islam, György Kepes, Michiko Kon, Ken Okiishi, Otto Piene, Kay Rosen, Tavares Strachan and Sarah Sze. Printed in an edition of 35 with 16 artists proofs, this is an extraordinary collection of contemporary prints  represents an eclectic variety of techniques and styles.
