About The Work
Terence Koh's first solo exhibition in the US occurred at the Whitney Museum from January—May 2007. For the exhibition Koh created a site-specific installation in the museum's lobby. He constructed an atmosphere that was peaceful and simplistic, using monochromatic elements and objects to evoke a range of moods. The catalog for the exhibition is a piece in and of itself, possessing the same monochromatic themes and object relationships.
