Lionel Esteve

Lionel Estève is a French artist and sculptor who experiments with various materials and handcrafted techniques to create refined objects including – but not limited to – collages, assemblages, sculptures and mobiles. Whether figurative or abstract, his delicate visions are generally inspired after motifs found in the natural world or its sensual experience, which is the primary source of his unbridled creativity. His work deals with the boundaries of human perception and connection between man and nature.

Lionel Estève has shown work at The Musée du Verre, the Blueproject Foundation, De La Charge, Les Eglises, the Contemporary Art Center of the city of Chelles, the Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels, the De Vereniging DD, Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens, the Herzliya Museum of Art, the City of Paris Museum of Modern Art, Belem Cultural Center, Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, The Museum of Modern Art in New York, and MoMA PS1.
