    About The Work

Fashioned out of bronze and mineral oil, Unknown (well) was the first limited-edition piece created for the Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland. The reflective bronze cylinder is topped by a layer of mineral oil that acts as a glossy and transparent lens floating above the otherwise opaque sculpture. This work is an example of the artist's interest in juxtaposing disparate materials, experimenting with the affects they have on each other.
