About The Artist

Creating vibrantly colored sculptures, multimedia artist Daniel Wiener constructs fluid, sinuous shapes, calling to mind daydreams and fantastical landscapes. Preferring to subvert expectations, Wiener favors abrupt and surprising juxtapositions in his work. The amorphous swirls and vaguely familiar shapes common throughout his works provoke unease and discomfort, even as they create intrigue and curiosity.
